What are the eligibilities for getting a Home loan?

In today’s modern and busy world everyone needs a home and getting a home in a busy city like Mumbai becomes more difficult for everybody. At that time it becomes very necessary o look for the home loan. But getting a home loan is not a simple task; it depends on everybody’s capability to pay. A person would have desired to buy home in crores while the other may have thought to buy the home worth lacs. Hence there are different kinds of

eligibilities for different types of home loans.

But the eligibilities for the home loans are also very different from each other depending upon the banks policy and all other terms and conditions. It is a well known process that before buying the home, the buyer has to pay a major part of the cost of the home as a down payment. This money acts as an interest and it has several benefits over the markets nature. For instance if the market goes up well above for the house prices ,the down payment makes the buyer to sure about the predetermined price with the purchaser.

Hence if you are thinking to buy a home for about 7 lakhs you have to pay 1 or 1.5 lakh as a down payment and after that the loan agent tries to arrange the home loan worth Rs. 6.5 lakhs.
But still the home loan depends upon the income of the applicant. In simple words if you have a great income you are more towards getting a home loan. Hence having a good income makes the home loan process very easy yet the home loan depends upon several other factors. For example if you have the income of 2 lakhs per month and you are willing to get a home loan of 7 lakhs the bank will try to maximize your home loan up to 6.5 lakhs.

Another factor for the home loan is the age of the home. If the home is too old the bank does not will to allot the home loan and apart of that the home loan also depends upon the amount of the down payment ,if the buyer has paid directly the down payment of more than 30% the bank immediately confirms the home loan after verification and processing of all documents.
